It was a big scientific and networking event for the bioinformatic community in central Europe. The GCB program comprised 7 keynote talks, 33 contributed talks, 5 workshops and tutorials, 123 poster presentations, meetings of the German and Austrian bioinformatics societies as well as several social events. The CUBE team were central for the organization of the conference, which took place next to us in the old WU building in the Campus Althanstrasse.
